What makes this decaf so special is the EA Natural process. EA stands for Ethyl Acetate, a naturally occurring compound found in everyday fruits and vegetables. To naturally decaffeinate these beans, the green coffee is fully saturated and steamed to gently open its cellular structure. It is then rinsed with the EA solution, which naturally binds to the caffeine and removes approximately 97% of it without the use of harsh synthetic chemicals. The beans are thoroughly rinsed and re-dried, resulting in a holistic, chemical-free decaf that perfectly preserves the coffee's original, complex flavor profile.
