From the misty highlands of Cajamarca, Amazonas, and Lambayeque, this Royal Gem coffee shines as one of Northern Peru’s finest expressions. Grown between 1300 and 2250 meters above sea level by 167 smallholder producers of the Central de Cafetaleros del Nororiente (CECANOR) cooperative, it embodies the harmony between ethical farming, community growth, and vibrant cup quality.
Each farmer cultivates a few acres of Bourbon, Caturra, Catimor, Pachis, San Antonio, and Typica varieties, using organic and regenerative practices that preserve both land and legacy. After careful hand-picking, the coffee is fully washed and sun-dried, unveiling lively notes of green apple and lemon curd, balanced by milk chocolate sweetness and a subtle sesame cookie finish.
