Guatemala Huehuetenango

Grown high in the remote mountains of Santa Cruz Barillas, this remarkable coffee comes from Las Dueñas—a women-produced lot from the ASOBAGRI cooperative, one of the most respected and socially impactful groups in Guatemala. With over 1,400 smallholder members, ASOBAGRI supports producers through sustainability training, organic practices, and gender equity programs that uplift women throughout 80 rural communities.

Las Dueñas is the result of work by 182 women farmers who not only grow and process their own coffee but also lead efforts in environmental stewardship and income diversification—from organic composting to raising chickens and planting avocado trees.

In the cup, it’s a beautifully layered experience: rich chocolate and smooth caramel form the base, brightened by tart cranberry, citrusy orange, and a warming hint of clove.
